Last spring a team comprised of administrators and student leaders were asked to review the current Student Organization Web hosting environment and make recommendations on enhancing the process and technology. Part of the information gathering process included collecting feedback from webmasters and club presidents. Survey results showed that 72% of respondents wanted “an easy to use web editor that requires little or no experience”.
Starting fall 2008 Bentley will transition to a new platform that will offer webmasters an easy to use web tool (WordPress) based on blog technology. For organizations that prefer to continue working with HTML to maintain webpages, Microsoft Expression Web will now be available.
