Pre-Law Program
The law is a dynamic force for creating and maintaining a just
society. Bentley’s pre-law program is designed for students who
are interested in pursuing further graduate studies in law or a
law-related career.
Portfolio of Skills
The pre-law advising program focuses on developing and enhancing skills in critical thinking, problem analysis and solution, and oral, written, and electronic communication.
The unique combination of a business education and law mentoring, coupled with the opportunity to take liberal arts courses at Bentley, offers students a background for a law-related career as well as insight into the field of law.
Keeping pace with legal developments and changes, particularly those dealing with technology and e-commerce, Bentley offers a wide range of business and non-business law courses designed to acquaint you with diverse, domestic and international legal and ethical concepts.
Career Options
The unique variety of business- and liberal-arts-related law courses at Bentley will provide you with the necessary knowledge to function as an ethically responsible business leader in an ever-expanding complex business technology environment. Message from the Pre-Law Advisor
The pre-law program at Bentley is unique in its commitment to
provide students with the mentoring and advice needed to successfully pursue their law school or law-related career aspirations. The program is recognized by the American Bar Association and is listed on its website: http://www.abanet.org/publiced/undergrad/bentley.html.
I am proud to say that Bentley students who have applied to
law schools have been accepted by some of the most prestigious
in the country, including Harvard, Yale, Boston College and
Boston University.
In some instances, the decision to pursue law school or a law-related career does not occur until after graduation. Our graduates are always welcome to contact any member of the Law, Taxation and Financial Planning Department at any time for the advice and support.
If you have questions or wish to discuss the program, please feel free to call me e-mail me personally.
