Academic and Degree Requirements

Students are responsible for understanding all institutional policies, procedures, and requirements. These include, but are not limited to: degree and concentration requirements, course pre-requisites, the university's grading and course repeat policies. Students who fail to comply with university policies, procedures and requirements do so at their own risk.

A Degree Audit Summary (DAS) is created during the first semester of a student's program of study and is available for personal on-line viewing throughout one's program of study. Students who began their programs prior to January 2002 and those completing dual or second graduate degrees should refer to the Degree Requirement Summary (DRS) mailed yearly by the Registrar's Office. These summaries are designed to be used both by the student and the Registrar's Office as a guide to assure appropriate completion of degree/concentration and certificate requirements. Each student shares the responsibility for the accuracy of their DAS/DRS. All questions about the DAS/DRS should be addressed to the attention of the Registrar's Office.
