Work Order System Upgrade
Now operating with Infor EAM! We have just completed an upgrade to our work order system, previously known as Datastream. Although the name has changed, Bentley community members using the online work order system will not notice any major differences.
The most effective way to submit a work order is through this online system. A link to this form will always appear on the right of our Facilities Management home page. Login now using your Bentley ID without the @ symbol. You can then submit a new work order request, as well as view and track your work order requests. For more information on Work Order Request procedures, see our section on Work Orders.
Fire Safety Notice
It has come to our attention that some 5-head floor lamps may be hazardous. In some cases the lamps call for 25 or 60-watt bulbs, however the socket is able to accommodate higher watt bulbs. When higher watt bulbs are used, the plastic shades melt releasing fumes and has a significant potential to start a fire. These lamps are commonly found at Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Linens and Things, Target, and other chain stores. They are quite common in campus environments. There are several different manufacturers of these lamps and only one model has been identified thus far. UL has posted a bulletin regarding this lamp on their web site. If you have one of these lamps, please check the bulbs and lamp markings to ensure that you have the correct bulbs.

If you have any questions or are unable to determine whether you have the correct bulbs — please do not hesitate to contact Life Safety Services. Also, if you have experienced any problems with this style of lamp, please let us know so that we may forward the manufacturer and model number to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Customer Survey
It is our goal to continuously improve the level of service we provide to faculty, staff and students. In order to meet this goal, we have developed a customer satisfaction survey. A link to this survey is emailed to you after the work is complete. You can also complete the survey using the link below. Please note your service request number as you will be asked to enter it in the survey.
If you have any additional questions or concerns pertaining to your work order, please contact Facilities Management at extension 2208.
